The Central Queensland Conservatorium of Music (CQCM) is part of the School of Creative and Performing Arts within the Faculty of Arts, Business, Informatics & Education of CQUniversity, with the responsibility for the overview and development of all aspects of music and theatre across the university. The Bachelor of Music Degree located on the Rockhampton campus offers you a choice of two specialisations: * Jazz and Popular Music The Bachelor of Music Degree located on the Mackay campus offers you a choice of two specialisations: * Classical Piano The Bachelor of Theatre Degree - a program unique to Queensland and offered on the Mackay campus offers outstanding training in one of two specialisations: * Musical Theatre The Bachelor of Music Degree is also offered in distance mode (flexible delivery) allowing you the flexibility to attain your goals in music while tailoring your study around the other commitments in your life. * Music Studies We offer high-level, exemplary practical tuition in all aspects of music and theatre. We aim to provide students in Central Queensland with comparable opportunities available in other capital cities but with a unique perspective on the development of the individual performer through multiple performance opportunities, mentored by industry professionals.
